Well... It's been awhile since we took on the long, Long process of voting for the worst band.. But Ryan came up with this.. Why not take the final four of that series, And throw them in to a new battle..
Basically every one who sings.. Hey..That is a great idea...

How many times have you turned on the radio,And heard a song that makes you want to vomit? A song that makes you want to poke out your eardrums?
Well we will go through so many of these. And hopefully you tell us some of your worst,So we can add them to the battle..We are going to start with 8 this post,The final 4 from the last series.Plus 4 new contenders..And I think these first four may actually make it to the finals!

We start with the "winner" Of the last season...The Insane Clown Possee... Think they sucked last time.. Still think they do..This is the only video I can actually watch.. Thank god for remakes...

Well... How about the runner up.. Not sure if they even are a group anymore(Crossing fingers they aren't) We give you... Hanson...Ugh.....

Band number three is horrible..They make Hanson look like The Rolling Stones... Yep.. It's those damn brothers Jonas....Oh the Disney crowd will hate me forever.. THANK YOU!!!!

And we finally get to the last band standing from the last series.. This band is putrid.. I honestly wish I never heard them live.. Trippin Daisies ...

So now that we have revisited the final four.. Let's add 4 more to start this contest!!! As always, Just because you or I may like a bans, If someone says they belong, It's on the list..
Your job is to make sure it doesn't move on.. So don't blame me if someone you like goes all the way and you did not speak up!!!

First up... And I am sure I will catch a ton of shit about this from the female side.. Babara Streisand ... Yes she has had hit songs.. But is she someone you can recommend someone to listen to?

Well..Moving on.. How about another female singer who also has a"cult following".. Not that there is anything wrong with it.. Just sayin... Celine Dion ..Want a good laugh? Read comment 2 or 3 on the you tube page of this video..

How about we throw in a singer who has done solo, And group work that he wound up in worst bands ever last year.. Phil Collins....

Thanks to Ryan for noticing this.. But This little blog has finally hit 400 posts.. It seems like yesterday I was starting my first post, Worried if people would actually read what I had to say.

But some of you did,And have continued to. There have been ups and downs over the almost 4 years since we started this..But through it all I have had the loyal 3 or 4!!!

I may not be posting as much as I once did(That should change with the new Worst Singers series) But It is always great to know I made someone laugh(Or get pissed.. Just sayin Herman..)

So here's to another 400.. Oh what the hell.. Let's just keep going...

Welcome to the new year..3 Days late.. Hope all 4 readers had a great New Years.. Let's cut the small talk and get right into a few random ramblings shall we...

When did This become news?

Why should I care about Kim Kardashian's new hair style.. Big fucking deal.. Hey guess what? I took a dump this morning.. Maybe I should alert the Herald Mail.. Maybe I will get the AP to pick the story up.. Honestly..I do not understand why people have to worry about celebrities..
Maybe if people paid this much attention to things in REAL life.. Things would not be so fucked up..

And why are people booing Kris Humphries?it's not like he beat the hell out of her, Or did anything wrong.. She ditches him after less time then most kids are in school.. And yet he is the bad guy..People should really concentrate on things that matter.. I could care less what actor is banging what actress... Does it affect me? Nope...

Are you like me, And hate all the reality tv on these days? I understand why they do it..It's alot cheaper to follow people around while they do whatever the show is about then it is to make something you may actually follow..
.I follow more action/comedy shows, And it seems like the best ones are..Wait for it.. On networks like HBO or Showtime.. Why you ask? Because you pay for those networks(Unless you are a friend of mine who just calls Direct tv and complains about something LOL) They have the money to actually make quality shows..

Just in the last 2 years shows like Flash Forward, Jericho,Just to name a few have been canned because of"low ratings"..But yet they still roll out shit like the Jersey Shore.. go figure...

Steelers to face Jes..I mean Tebow and the Broncos ..

Well the Steelers march towards Super Bowl# 7 starts in Denver.. They will be playing without RB Rashard Mendenhall and safety Ryan Clark will miss the game.. Mendenhall tore his acl in Sundays win at Cleveland..

And finally congratulations to Hines Ward for topping 1000 career receptions.. Yes the 1000th was minus 3 yards.. But they all count.. Hopefully Ward will continue to play for the Steelers for a couple more seasons..

And there you have it Yet another weeks worth of news.. Who knows..We may even do more this week..

Tebow Verus Jesus

Well it looks like the Steelers are heading to Denver.. That can only mean we will get to witness first hand the power of Tim Tebow...But let's compare him and Jesus.. Let's see who could beat the Steelers...

Jesus...Let's see He doesn't need to thank himself..Every 3 seconds.. He can walk on water,He can turn said water into wine.. Think your average quarterback can do that? I think not.. But let's be fair to Tebow.. We will give him a sporting chance..

There he goes again.. We get it Tim.. How about doing some warmups?

Yes Jesus had Mary.. And the immaculate conception ..blah blah blah.. But was Mary THIS fine? I don't think so scooter!!Advantage Tebow..

Sure Tebow can vertical leap.. But can he float? Unless he is jumping from a cliff,And I don't think so.. Advantage Jesus ..

Jesus has never played in a NFL game.. Tebow has started or played in 23 games.. Advantage Tebow..

And finally, Can Tebow heal himself? I doubt it.. If Jesus tore an ACL ,He would just touch his knee,And make it all better.. Tebow on the other hand would be out for like 9 months.. So... Advantage Jesus...

Overall,Jesus out classes Tebow..Other then the choice of fine ladies.. Unless Tebow is Jesus himself.. He stands NO chance of beating the Steelers next week!!!

Yes I am back again.. And yet again I have to say I am sorry for not doing any posts the last few weeks...

Not like there has not been alot going on, With the Suns possibly moving to Winchester in 2013, Steelers securing yet another playoff spot.Pirates making moves during the owners meetings.. But that is where the problem starts..

When I started this blog almost 4 years ago, I did so when I was going to a large amount of baseball games(Being unemployed will give you loads of free time..Trust me)I had a different approach to anything Shawn would write on his blog.. And that usually worked out well(Cake Gate anyone?)The problem now is I do not have nearly as much free time..
And most of the stories I can talk about have usually fell out of the public eye before I have time to write about it..

But I am leaving this question to you. The 3 or 4 loyal readers.. Do you want me to continue with the format I have had since I started, Or rather maybe branch into a new direction? Don't worry.. I will not get away from dick jokes, Or cracking wise on whoever deserves it..Suggestions are always taken!!

So... Let's get to those random ramblings.. Shall we...

You think you had a bad week....

I do know this happened in Jerry World.. I guess the cart was pissed he wasn't around to take out.. So it tried to mow down high school coaches.. Almost got the 7-10 split... Almost....

Gas prices go up 12 cents over night.. Was there an oil spill somewhere I had not heard about? Did BP kill 1 million different lobsters? What the hell caused the spike in prices?
It started Monday..When Sheetz raised their prices 12 cents.. I figured this was just them covering the free coffee they gave out Christmas day.. But then today I saw other places followed suit..Sweet Baby Jeebus.. What the fuck is going on??
Trust me, As a person who gets gas every day(Insert fart joke here) I tend to try and find the cheapest gas... Well thanks OPEC.. Or whoever the hell was being a dick.. Now no one in the area has a good price..

When did everyone become giant douchebags?

Honestly... I have never seen so many people caught in the act of douche baggery (@Mike McKain 2011)in any given time frame.. These assholes can not drive to save their asses.. Or use common sense.. I also am guessing since they can't drive,Can't think//They also lost ANY common decency...
.Have you been to a store in the last few weeks? It's like someone yelled fire.. But instead of running out..They run in..You have fun getting the last fucking snuggie asshole.. I can go get food products another day...

And since I am sure I will not get any time before New Years day.. Please do not be a douchebag and drink and drive,..Call AAA And have you, And your car towed home.. It's simple.. And it could save a life... Most of us like a little drink now and then.. Just don't put your life, Or someone else s life at stake...

Welcome back!!! I want to start off by apologizing for the delay in posting.
.And for stopping pick ems 3 weeks ago... Work was crazy the week or so after Thanksgiving,And I don't have anyone to do the blog in my absence.So I basically I just shut down until I could find the time.. And here we are again!!!

Wendy's new W.. Well.....

I was really looking forward to try the new Wendy's W burger.. Basically it's the same as a Big Mac..But a tad more pricey... I was very impressed with the service,
Normally fast food is just get you in,And get you out(That's what she said)but I was shocked on the friendliness I received.. I should have know something was wrong!!!!

I wish I had taken a picture of this"Burger".... How bad was it? Glad you asked.. It was SO bad... I could have used the meat as a hockey puck had I got bored...

I have seen more dressing on a strip club dancer.. AND I paid almost 6 bucks for a combo!!!The best part of the damn combo was the frosty... Not what you would call a great lunch...

If this is what Wendy's bills as their "new" sandwich... I will gladly take the old 1 thank you very much...

James Harrison gets a 1 game suspension....

James Harrison was suspended by the NFL on Monday for 1 game as a result of this hit on Browns QB Colt McCoy on Thursday nights game..

Couple things about this..As much as I am a diehard Steelers fan,Harrison lead with his helmet,And McCoy was still behind the line of scrimmage.. Even if he was past the line.. Harrison lead with his helmet.. No one can argue the fact he was head hunting.. 2 Or 3 plays before this he tried to blow up McCoy ..

And shame on the Browns trainers for letting McCoy stay in.. According to reports,He did not even know his name right after the hit..But told trainers his hand hurt..I'm sure it did,You hit it off a helmet like 3 or 4 plays before that..

This is a post Shawn put up yesterday on Facebook..I totally agree with his thoughts on this..

To all Steelers fans except Mike Mckain that also root for the Penguins-ask yourself this question-Why is it fine for James Harrison to break the rules and cause concussion issues,but you were ready to scream about David Steckel's rulebreaking hit on Sidney Crosby for an illegal hit? A bit of consistency,please!!! Mike McKain is excepted as he admitted right away that Harrison's head was out of line and was consistent in his statements.....

And for all of you who have cried and whined since Crosby was injured, Think about this.. He has played in a handful of games since January last year.. Jahvid Best of the Detroit Lions has not,And will not play since he sustained a concussion about 6 weeks ago.. All the major sports are starting to understand the true effects on head injuries..

Yes the days of these kind of hits are gone..

If that would have happened today, That play would have been stopped about 5-8 seconds in.. As soon as Bradshaw was in the grasp,The referee would have blown the play dead..Yes I do complain about the NFL being "pussified" But I also think the players who play today should be able to see tomorrow...

This year is a bit different then the last couple years.. I can start of by saying how thankful I am to have a loving family.. I may not get to see 99% of you on a regular basis, But I love you, And miss you all!!
I can say it was great having my sister down for a couple days.. Getting her away from the crazy goings on up home..

Next up.. To all my friends.. Some of you I see regularly,Some I may not see for extended periods of time.. But to all of you I say thank you for being my friend.. We may have our ups and downs,But at the end of the day I would never ask for such great friends!!! There honestly have been days I did not feel like doing something, Or whatever the reason.. You made me get out and do something!!!

Yes it's that time again.. Hopefully we get a little bit better this week.. And it's also Baltimore/Pittsburgh week... What does that mean? Just the best rivalry in the game today!!

This is the old Cleveland/Pittsburgh battles times 10.. I've said it before,But Cleveland is not The Browns anymore.. That stopped when Steeler fans went arm and arm with Browns fans after the last Steelers/Browns game before the original Browns moved to Baltimore..But thanks to Stabby McStabby and crew,This has gotten really good over the last few years.

The AFC North has pretty much been Steelers/Ravens for the last decade. They have played in championship games, Divisional playoffs, Regular season games.. They just plain hate each other!! And we will pick that game at the end of the picks...

No one saw Buffalo being a team to beat this late into the season.. But here they are.. The Jets are a team in disarray,Players wanting the ball,Joe Namath taking shots at Rex Ryan.. Oyyyy... Final Score ,Planes 21-Horned Cows 28.

Now this is what Sunday Night Football should be!!! The Steelers are looking to avenge a 35-7 beat down on opening day.. I have to say that was 1 of the worst games in at least 15 years for the Mighty McBeams..

Win this and Pittsburgh opens a 2 game lead over Baltimore,Possibly taking the AFC North .. A loss,And a Bengals win would create a 3 team log jam atop the division.. Then things would get interesting.. Pittsburgh plays Cleveland and the Bengals twice in the last 7 games of the season..

Steelers are without a couple key defensive players.. But the offense should be running on all cylinders.. And Hines Ward will return from injury.. Hell yes..This is going to be good!!! Final Score.Nasty Birds 16-Mighty McBeams 31..

This may be the toughest next 2 games on the Steelers schedule, After this week they face Stabby McStabby and company next week.. The key to winning for Pittsburgh is to keep pressure off Large Ben. This is a rematch of Super Bowl 43.. Sadly the Cards have not even came close to being that team since..Pittsburgh West has at least 5 coaches and players who have been with the Steelers in the last 8 years.The fact remains no matter how many people you use, The system is not the same.

In an age where unemployment is "good" If it is below 10 percent..Where it is awesome to have gas at 3.35 a gallon... Where is the money supposed to come from? How dare you debate and stall bills that could help millions of Americans who are desperate for ANY help!!

Take a good look around.I am sure You, And many others you know are in the same position.. Should I fill the gas tank up,Or get a few extra groceries? Meanwhile we have congressmen who are more then likely taking kickbacks to stop laws that could actually help people!!!

I understand this practice has been around forever.. But the last 3 years have been some of the worst years of economic turmoil ever seen without a depression ..

Let me ask you this Congress, President Obama. Do you ever have to do without anything? Ever have to put off medical visits, Eye exams,Or maybe buying a car or house? Of course you have never had this.. You all are over privileged,Over paid,Over Kicked Back to ever worry about normal problems!!!

If you would have told me the following things before the season.. Chris Johnson would have less yards then Peyton Hillis.. And combined they STILL don't have 300 yards between them? The Titans,And the Browns would have 2-1 records,And be in a tie for the division leads?No one could have seen these things happen!!
I sadly have to admit I like the approach of Cleveland, Using Colt McCoy instead of going out and getting a over priced veteran.. But... The Titans will be playing with emotion this week.. We lost to the Browns? Holy shit ... We suck!!!!

Yes Colts fans.. This season may not end soon enough for some.For others, It already has ended. It's gotten so bad in Indy that Jeff George has said he would come out of retirement and play.. Wait,Don't they already have a somewhat washed up 40+ year old QB? And no, Brett Farve is NOT the answer..

This way, You will at least get a few yards.. Hey.. You're not Jeremy Shockey..

Great job with the shutout by the Steelers .. The main concern going to Indy is getting the running game back on all cylinders ,And maybe getting the ball in the end zone from 3 feet away.. No major injuries from the game, Large Ben did not suffer any lasting effects from a shot to the knees.Next up are the above mentioned Colts... We will talk score in Pick Ems..

This is a game I have to say could go 2 ways.. 1)The Steelers are just as bad as they looked last week, And lose to a team they have NO reason to lose to.. 2)This could be a beat down.. And I have to say after watching the Redskins have their way against the Steelers in the pre season,And the next week coming out and punching the Eagles in the face with a beatdown... The no huddle is said to make it's 2011 season debut Sunday,After being non existent last week.. But I had to get a chuckle out this Seattle "expert"

Where do I begin?... A day full of upsets and crazy scores..

I guess the best place to start is the total ass kicking Baltimore put on your Pittsburgh Steelers.. 35-7??
Really?How the fuck is this even possible.... Well.. It's pretty damn easy when you give up 7 turnovers...MMM Turn..No Homer.. Not those kind of turnovers....Large Ben had 3 picks,AND fumbled 2 more to add insult to injury.. Just a horrible,Horrible game all around.. Maybe all that talk of the defense getting old is not just talk after all...

From the no real big surprise files... The Houston Texans made the Colts look like a team who's starting QB was drunk... Oh wait.. he's a sober,FORMER drunk.. After that game.. May want to start hitting the bottle again...34- 7 Is not pretty..

I would like to start with this..If you are 1 of the 4 who reads this, And only reads the funny.. Come back Monday or Tuesday.. I only do maybe 2 or 3 of these type of articles a year...

I am sure everyone knows where,And what they were doing on the morning of Sept 11,2001.. I was coming home from a 12 hour shift..And by the time I had gotten off work, And made it home I had heard the news of a small plane hitting the North tower of the World Trade Center complex..After seeing the first pictures,I and many others realized this was not a small plane..

About this time it was close to 9 am.And I had to try and get some sleep for work that night.. But I could not take my eyes off this sight... That is when I saw it.. And thought I was seeing things.. Yet another plane hitting another tower. I was in shock,Could not believe this was actually happening..

Then as the twin 110 story towers were on fire, We got word of yet another attack.. A jet had plowed into the corner of the Pentagon.. Now a situation that was scary and unreal had become something a bit closer to home.

Then the shots of the White House employees running,Ladies without heels running down the street.. The Capitol being evacuated.This was becoming more and more disturbing.

Most of you know the area I am in, Situated between Pittsburgh to the North West,And Baltimore/Washington to the south. So when the report of a plane crashing outside Pittsburgh started coming in.. My brain began to wonder..
Was it my former home town? Was it 1 of my favorite cities? It was none of those.. We all now know the story of the brave passengers aboard Flight 93. How they took back control of the jet,Before the plane could be flown into possibly the US Steel building in Pittsburgh.Or even worse The Capitol or even the White House..

When it was all said and done.. The death toll was about 2977.. But that does not count the first responders who have died since that horrible day.Many have severe breathing problems,And heart problems. So the real toll is probably not going to be known for awhile.. If ever...

I never got to visit the World Trade Center,My sister did take the picture shown above.. It is 1 of those things you think, Oh it will be there.. I will visit it next time..Sadly I never got back.. I have been to Shanksville.The temporary memorial was incredible,And the feeling you have walking away from it was sadness.. Knowing those brave souls saved hundreds,If not thousands of innocent lives.
.The question I have for you is this, Would you be able to do that? I am going to answer honestly and say I don't know.. Anyone can say yes, I would do it.. But be put in that position..Think about it, You are 30,000 feet above your town and the plane is hijacked,And you have no idea where they are going.. Can you say you would do whatever it takes, Even if it means dying to take the plane back?

And please do not think I am forgetting the first responders who rushed to the scene in New York that awful day.. They are also heroic.. Their determination to help others saved possibly thousands that day.. I am sorry if this post has gone off the rails.. I guess I am just saying whatever comes to mind as I type this.. So it may or may not read as good as I typed it..

Welcome back .. To the 4 people who read this.. I am sorry for the LONG delay in bringing you a somewhat quality blog post.. With the new job, Many weird hours.. Just have not had a ton of time to get anything..Let along a blog post done.. But let's have some fun today!!

I honestly have not been able to follow much in the world of sports.. But of course the Pirates did exactly what we thought they would do.. Fall faster and harder then Orson Wells on a bender.......OK.. Now that you have stopped groaning...Last year the Bucs were 44 games under 500 on this date.. This year?Only 11 games..
Take the fact they were in first place around a month ago,And were the talk baseball.. Bottom line,This team is too young to have kept that pace up.. Pitchers hit walls,Some position players have never played this many games in a season.The Pirates are going on the right direction.But 500 is probably not in the cards this season.

A little Steeler news.. QB Byron Leftwich had surgery on Monday to repair his broken arm suffered on Saturday night. Looking more and more like Charlie Batch will be the back up to large Ben. He may not be Ryan Leaf caliber bust..But Limas had a grand(OK..Not so grand total of 69 yards on 7 catches in his 2 years as a Steeler... But..He did have a huge hit in the playoffs against Baltimore in 2009

Re Doing Highway Signs

We've all seen the signs along the highways of America.. And Honestly, They are kind of boring..Maybe these few changes would help everyone stay alert.. At least it's worth a shot...

First up..We deal with a rather boring sign.. Falling rock...

How do we fix it? Well the answer is very simple.. You add a classic cartoon Coyote who will help us all ..

See.. Isn't that better? Not only funny.. But shows the proper use of preventive tools...

We all have seen these signs.. But how often do you pay attention? See what I'm saying..The sign is boring...

The solution? Simply add a picture of a deer crossing the street.. What I would have done also is add Ballet slippers to the sign on the left.. Deer Ballet.. Who would not be on the lookout for this?

I'm sure most of us have seen these signs on the highways the last year or so.. Letting us know that our tax dollars are hard at work.. Not a bad sign. But there's alwaysa way to jazz it up..

Yes I have said I was planning on doing some stuff this week..But Time/Storms/And lack of effort on my part have forced all that to the weekend...

Hines Ward arrested for DUI... Yes..Yet again a Steeler,Who makes more money then you and I will ever see in a lifetime gets drunk,And gets behind the wheel.... I'm not totally naive..I understand that sometimes you treally don't think you are drunk..But 2 beers is all it takes..

Plus the fact guys like Ward can more then afford to have someone drive them after going to a club..But good judgement is not always something we do well..

That being said..I still respect Ward..Maybe not as much today as yesterday..But everyone makes mistakes..It's up to your peers if you can recover from those mistakes..

Your 2011 Pittsburgh Pirates are 1 game out of first place with 2 days before the All Star break!! And there is no one out there who could have possibly saw this coming!

Think about this,The Pirates have a winning record for the first time since.....1992...The last year we had winning baseball in the Burgh..Yes it ended bad...But what a ride it was... Listened to the game last night,And the crowd was amazing!! 37,000 + chanting Let's Go Bucs.. It's always been said..If the Bucs win, The crowds will come..And halfway through the season they have more sell outs then they did all of last year.. I hope to talk more about the Bucs later today or tomorrow...

Our first contender(s) Those pesky flying sturgeons in the Suwanee river in Florida.. These guys actually fly out of the water, And land in your boat..And if you are lucky that's all they do.. There are reports of them getting as large as 8 feet long,And weighing more then 200 pounds.. Not something you want coming at you why you relax on the river...

Contender number 2 is Dodgers owner Frank McCourt.. This dumbass has slowly ruined a great franchise.. McCourt and his wife "allegedly" used Dodger income as a personal ATM,Withdrawing cash any damn time they felt like.. Now with the couple divorcing,MLB has stepped in to try and run the teams day to day operations.. Just because you own a team,Doesn't give you the right to run it into the ground..

And contender number 3.. And this weeks winner.. Jaromir Jagr..All he did was basically kiss the ass of the entire city of Pittsburgh,The owners of the Penguins,And blow smoke up everyone's ass for over a week.. Jagr has said a few times he wanted to come"home" to the Burgh and play for the Pens. He even stated at 1 time he would play for the league minimum...

So when did he change his mind? Or was he just lying out his ass the entire time?Jagr has stated he took"less money" to play with the Flyers.. And reports show the only team that offered more was the Russian Hockey League team he played for the last 3 years..

The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Boston Red Sox last night 3-2 in front of the second largest crowd in PNC Park history..Paul Maholm worked through 5 innings, Only giving up the 1 run.. And Joel Hanrahan picked up his 21st save in as many chances..in the eight inning Jose Veras gave up singles to the first 2 batters,Then striking out Scutaro.. Next up..David Ortiz. I listened to this game online, And the Let's Go Bucs Chants started to outnumber the Let's go Sox ..It was like a scene out of a movie,Rain coming down,Fans going nuts.The stage was set.. And all Veras did was get 1 of the best hitters in the league to fly out..

Hagerstown Suns release 2011 team set.. Not ground breaking news..But the fact they are charging 22 bucks for the set is.. Explain this to me please.. How is it "Fan friendly" to charge this much for a team set? The Suns talk a good game about the above mentioned Fan friendly slogan..But in the end, That's all it is... Let's see what happens next season when the golden boy is not in Hagerstown... Although they could release a set of recaps..And gouge the fans for another 20 bucks..

The Jeff and I made a road trip to Hershey on Tuesday,Well we didn't attend alone..That's just how the drive ended up.. WWE had Smackdown invading The Giant Center,And along with that they also taped NXT,And Superstars...Well 1 match for Superstars..Crowd was not a normal TV crowd(Although I have never been to a TV taping)The crowd seemed more worried about the camera,And less about the "Action"In ring...

I did notice how much they cut out of Smackdown,The WHAT chant was gone,And the crowd noise was pumped in during edit..But..The crowd was real when Randy Orton made his entrance.. I honestly have not heard a pop like that before..And the pyro...Wow!! I am not going to lie and say i didn't have the bejeebus scared out of me when Smackdown started..Was not ready for that!!! It was a great evening,And had a blast hanging out with friends.. Another road trip is needed now!!

Never..EVER wear something that has exceeded the size limit for your body!!

There is NO good reason for this!!! It's like trying to stuff a really,Really big guy into a Mini Cooper..Sure it sounds good..But the end result is pretty awful..And I do not care what you think.."Oh the halter top still fits",It only fits 1 boob..And it really doesn't fit that one well either..Just remember..If you have hold your breath more then 3 seconds to get it on..It really doesn't fit..

Fellas, Don't think you're out of the woods.. If you weigh more then boat you are trying to ride..Give it up! There is no sense calling in a rescue when the only thing getting your fat ass out of the lake is a cargo helicopter!!

And here's another tip.. If you notice the boat is leaning towards you.. You have 1 option.. Roll out!!!

And here is my biggest pet peeve.. You hairy,nasty sombitches who just HAVE to go out with no shirt on!!! Why the fuck do I need to see that your winter coat has not went away?Honestly..No guy should have his shirt off outside unless he is swimming.. What the hell is wrong with the state of Maryland.... Normally gas prices in this area are 10 to 20 cents a gallon cheaper then our neighbors in Pa and Wv..Not as of late..I have filled up in Charlestown,Wv and paid almost 20 cents LESS then I would in Md..I do not understand the greed that oil suppliers have..

If anyone has bought,Or has been looking for a used car in the last month can tell you.Prices have went through the roof for used cars.. Main reason for this?The earthquake in Japan has caused a backlog due to shut downs of factories. Making it more attractive to get a used car.. And I would not be a friend if I did not say if you are searching for a car.. Give my old friend Shane a call.. I'm sure he'll put you in a nice car,AND maybe a arm bar...

Going traveling this summer? You may want to use caution if going through Pennsylvania.. Don't speed in construction zones..

I STILL have not been to a ball game this season!! Part of me misses the game.But with lack of funds for the first part of the season,It was not in the cards.. But hopefully I will get out to the park very soon,I'm sure the Suns will greet me with open arms!!

It seems dubious logic to throw people out of the park so they might get hit by lightening going to their car rather than under cover at the park. That seems to be the reverse of how things are normally done...

From time to time we discuss a lot of things.. Today we will take a walk down memory lane.. If you have watched any wrestling show in the last 20 years,You have seen a ton of horrible things..And by that I mean the gimmick,The "Debut",Or just simply some of the worst writing I have ever heard...

Honestly,This has wasted way more time then it ever should have..And for Donald Trump to sit back and say he is the reason this was done,That's Alexander Haige saying he is in charge at the White House after Regan was shot..Just not true..

Then this afternoon I heard some dumbass saying that Obama's birth certificate should say"negro"Not African.. What the fuck is wrong you long winded douche bags? Is it not enough the man gave you what you wanted,And stopped the debate? Oh wait,That's right you want something else to say .. Just be honest,You do not want a black man in the White House...Oh..That would make you racist..Not that you aren't already Me thinks...

Happy Easter to everyone!! I hope you and your families are having a great day!!

If by chance you are a new reader(Can I be that lucky?)This is just things on my mind.. So in other words, It should be a short story..

Pens get thumped in 8-2 loss.. I am glad I did not watch this game!! The 2 losses the Pens have suffered at the hands of the Lightning have been 3+ goals .. Not sure if they just had an off day,Or it's simply the fact you are missing your #1 and# 2 stars..Hopefully the Pens can wrap it up Monday night..GO PENS!!

Nice win last night by your second place?? Pirates.. Yeah It's early on in the season..But I never thought they would even be above fifth place..

Livan Hernandez is upset with the Pirates.. He said after last nights game that he was not told when the game would start.. The game was delayed 1 hour and 11 minutes due to rain,And Hernandez said he did not get the proper time to warm up.Going as far as saying That Pirates starter Jeff Karstens had an edge.. Face it Livan..You are almost throwing batting practice speed..No amount of warming up will help!!

I almost spit my soda on the keyboard as I heard Buster Olney saying that the NL Central is a wide open race.. AND he even said..Gasp.. The Pirates have a shot.. Note to ESPN..Have him drug tested now!!

I am listening to the Pirates pre game show on the radio..And they have a legends of the game segment..Today's guest..Matt Stairs..REALLY slow day... Of course this is a Nationals/Pirates game..So not many legends..

When did almost every store stay open on Easter? I had to run out and get a few things,And was shocked how many places that are actually open..

If anyone has ever been in a accident,You know the grief you must go through to get things done.. Add to that if the person that hit you has no insurance.. It's shocking how many hoops you have to jump through just to try and get things back in order.. I have been without a car for 7 plus weeks now(And counting),I understand insurance companies have things they must do.. But I pay for insurance.. Why should I be penalized for some dumb crackhead bitch?

I was reading Shawn's Blog this morning,And he had a very interesting piece about the card collector/Autograph seeker.. In his post Shawn has a link to the Herald Mail story about Mr Baseball in the second coming,.Bryce Harper..And how he is the holy grail of auto seekers.. What the article misleads you about is the fact that it makes it seem like everyone who wants Harper's autograph is going to walk right out and sell it...
From my personal experience, The autographs I get are not sold, They actually carry more sentimental value.. I could probably tell you a story for every baseball I have had signed..

The best part of the article,Is card dealers being quoted as saying collectors have priced everyone out.. I hate to say it..But dealers are the ones who used stud finders to find base ball bat insert cards in sets,They also have the ability to set a price.. Yes I know the whole supply/demand thing..But when I stopped collecting over 15 years ago,The average price for a pack of cards was just under 6 bucks....

Something about that just doesn't sound right for a piece of cardboard with a picture on it...

New Season,Same Results

The Hagerstown Suns were supposed to play the Harrisburg Senators tonight at 6PM,And Hagerstown being Hagerstown,The game was cancelled hours before it was to start...

But Mike, How can this be the Suns fault? Simple.. Are you telling me that they did all this work,And did not add a drainage system?I thought this was the reason for replacing the field after last season.. Or was it simply the fact that the Nationals did not want the chosen one on a field that was a tad damp?

The worst part of this fiasco? The Suns charged anyone who wanted to show up and watch a"Team workout" 5 bucks... Wait..You are going to charge 5 bucks for something other teams don't??

I guess this is just the Bryce Harper effect going to the front offices head.. I honestly hope can't believe you would charge people to watch batting practice.. Because if the field was ok enough for a workout,Why wasn't it enough for a game?

The season has not even started yet,And the Suns have raised ticket prices,Gotten rid of half the G/A seats they had,Tried to charge for parking.. I mean honestly,Is this how things are going to be from now on?

In the press release it stated that the Senators would not be here.So does this mean they knew at least 90 minutes before they released the statement? I woke up and saw it raining today,And could have bet they would not have the game tonight.Why you ask? Because I have grown accustomed to the dealings of the Suns.. And I guess it's not going to change much more!!

Pirates Win Season Opener

This is 1 of the best times of the year,And for long,Long,Long time suffering Pirate fans opening day is a fresh start.

This could be the best baseball we see all season,Or it could be a harbinger of things to come...

Well if this is what the 2011 Pittsburgh Pirates offer us the rest of the season,I for 1 am impressed..

But it is only 1 game.. And a very decent game it was..

Kevin Correia got out of early troubles,Going 6 innings,Giving up 2 runs on 7 hits.The downside of the game had to be Pedro Alvarez with a very bad throw to first,Earning him and error,And should have could have had another 2 on the day.

But the hero of the day would be second baseman Neil Walker.His grand slam in the fifth inning(Only the second granny on opening day in Pirate History)Left Wrigley field and bounced down Sheffield Avenue..Pirates 4-Cubs 2..

Andrew McCutchen then added a 2 run shot over the non ivy walls to make it 6-2.. The Cubs would add 1 more run in the seventh,But then the Pirates bullpen shut them down with Joel Hanrahan getting his first save.. Drive home safely.

Pedro Alvarez is a great ball player, But this very well could be his last season at third,1 Charged error and the chance he could have had another 2 is disturbing.Yes it is the first game of the year,But you just left spring training..This is what you have been working on for over a month now..

Kevin Correia pitched 6 effective innings.Here's hoping this continues.

Jose Tabata showed a little more patience at the plate,During the seventh inning he worked a full count.Last season he probably would have swung away. Again, Here's hoping it's just the start of a great season.

Is it just me,Or does the Wrigley Field grounds crew suck?

Spring games at Wrigley are odd,No ivy covering the walls.Just doesn't look right.

It's hard to believe it has been 3 years since this blog was started.. I honestly thought at times I would just pack it up and be done with this.. But a few loyal readers who actually read this telling me this was funny,Or the 1 time this blog may have had an impact(I know you read Hagerstown Suns!!!).

Before I get to thanking everyone..I have to say Happy Anniversary to Shawn,His blog is always at l;east 10 times(OK,Maybe 100 times better)I have changed from a sports type blog(Mainly)too more funny stuff.

Now..I would not be doing this blog if it wasn't for Shawn.. And yes,He is correct.The day this stops being fun walk away..I can honestly say that even though there are times I have wanted to,I still enjoy doing this.Thank you again for your Friendship,And advice..Trust me,I do listen most of the time!

Thanks to Ryan,Who most people don't even realize is a HUGE part of this blog.. From learning how to put videos on here,To covering a few posts here and there.Plus being a great friend also..

Yes it's summer,The kids are out of school,Old people sort of feel safe to get out more..

And yet no one has ever made a survival guide for summer?Why I ask? Is it too much to ask for a little bit of help?

Well your cries for help are being answered!!!

The following are just simple rules to help you,And others make it through the summer without injury(To them or you)

1)Keep you damn shirt on!!!
No one wants to,Or needs to see your"cool"tat.Or even worse,To see the home made V neck sweater that is your hair on your chest!!

Put that shit away!You do not have to show everyone that you look like Robin Williams..And Ladies,I'm sorry,The same goes for you!!I have nothing against tattoos,But if you have more ink then skin,Please god cover that shit up!

2)While we are on the subject of clothing,Why is it that everyone just has to wear a "wife beater"Look I for 1 know my big fat ass should NEVER ever be exposed to sunlight..The last thing people want to see is your fat ass man boobs!!

And just because you think it's cool,Doesn't mean everyone thinks it is,Trust me!!

3)Never..I repeat NEVER think you have the powers of the all mighty Jeebus,And Superman put together just because you have had a few drinks..Just because you THINK you can bodyslam a Buick,Doesn't mean you actually can!!Only very bad things can come out of a situation like this..And 1 of them is you being in traction!!!

4)While on the subject of thinking you are tough...NEVER..I repeat Never pick a fight with someone out of your weight class.. Where do you rationalize that it is smart to pick a fight with someone who almost doubles your weight? It's a sad situation when a wee little guy thinks just because a guy is fat,He can't do anything..

Not such a piece of cake

The Hagerstown Suns celebrated the 150Th anniversary of the ticket booth before last nights game against the Lexington Legends,Sadly they probably didn't need the ticket booth to get the 125 people in the door!

This night started off shitty from the start,After walking through the gates,We decided to grab a piece of this "special anniversary"cake.Well that was shot down faster then the Suns record,Walked over to the"cake cutting area"Which was a card table they had served baked mac and cheese off of the day before.The woman,Teen,Whatever she was standing there cutting said cake says"would you like a piece of cake?No honey,I just thought I'd come over and ogle it alittle before I went any further.

So of course i said yes, The next thing I know,She says to me"Do you have a cake ticket?When the hell did this turn into a bake off?Well of course I didn't have a "cake ticket"Her next response is the usual line of shit you get during a Hagerstown Suns game.Well you need a cake ticket,Wait,I just bought a ticket to walk in the door,And now you're telling me I must have a ticket to join in on the lovely celebration of ticket booth night?And god forbid any Suns employee actually helps you during a ballgame.So she squabbled with some doofus about the "cake ticket"thing,I finally said fuck this,No dessert is worth all this bullshit.

So we headed down to get some cards signed things were going good, Talking to another collector while we waited for the teams to come out.Well the mistake we made was standing in "The suite area"I don't have the picture of this yet,But it is maybe 40x30 with no roof,Or anything a suite would look like.The next thing you know,A Suns employee(not sure of her name,but she is nothing but professional)Came over and said we had to move per orders of Herman Munster(not really his name,but damn sure looks like him)Let me get this straight,This clown sends his employees down to do his work?I could understand moving us if there were actually people there,But at this time I am not lying,May have been 30 people in the ENTIRE stadium!So after all this,I was starting to get pissed off,Anyone who has ever worked customer service knows you usually bend over backwards to help the customers,Not the Hagerstown Suns front office!

Finally good old Herman strolled past,I was talking to him the entire time he was walking by,That's when i said "That's right ignore your customers when they have an issue"At this point i was about ready to walk out,But Shawn being the level headed one(Never thought I'd say that lol)Talked to Herman for a good 20 minutes.Of course Herman just kept spewing the same old shit we have heard a thousand times before.How's this for a change,You listen to your customers,Make them happy,They may actually come back?

At this point we decided it was pointless to beat the dead horse,And the game was about to start anyways.Oh and there was a game by the way,The Suns beat the Legends 7-6 in 10 on a botched infield grounder,Of course to hear a Suns employee talk,They had to beat 12 guys.The 9 on field,Plus the 3? umpires.Ummmm,Here's a problem,If you "think"know so much about baseball,You would know it's 2 umpires,So you played against 11,Not 12!But it was not the umpires who committed 4 Lexington errors,Or at least 2 for Hagerstown that got this game into extra frames.Couple notes from the last 2 innings of this,Stephen King really needs to chill out alittle.A fair ball that King thought was foul sent the 3rd baseman on a tangent,That should have had him ejected,But he wasn't done there,After going for3rd on a play,He was tagged out,And was out by at least a couple steps..

Well this is all Mr King needed after the previous inning,He went nuts again,But he was not alone in his anger,Darnell Coles was already ballistic at this point,Throwing his batting helmet towards the umpire,He was tossed,But the King ran towards the ump,And started screaming at him.How King did not get tossed for this i am shocked.The best part of the whole thing was when Coles,On his way to the showers,Left about 30 baseballs,And the bucket they used to reside in on the field.You have to respect Coles to stand up for his guys,Even though he'll receive at least a 3 game suspension.i just remembered Herman's name.. It's the off season for all but 2 Major League Baseball teams,And this is a time usually when fans wonder if 1 of their players will win an off season award.Not us Pirate fans,We get "letters"from our team president.. Won't you follow along with me as we read another letter from Frank.

As we begin the 2010 off season, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how grateful we are that you, our fans, continued to show your passion through some very difficult decisions to accelerate the overhaul of the organization during the 2009 season. Like you, we are extremely disappointed with the performance of our Major League Club this past season. But, for the reasons set out here and illustrated in The Pirates Blueprint, we are just as encouraged about direction of the organization and its future.

There are not enough words to describe how awful this movie was.. Jerry Reed posing as the Bandit? Paul Williams in drag? Yes,When a movie really sucks...I guess they decide to dress the short guy in ladies clothes..

Next up.. Chairman Of The Board.. My god this movie sucks out loud..What the hell was Courtney Thorne Smith thinking?? I wonder if she got paid more to make out with Carrot Top?. This movie is why suicides went up a few years ago!!

I've never seen this movie.. But I can say(Sadly)I have seen the other 6.. and honestly...I don't think there was a good one after the 2nd movie.. I have to wonder if Michael Winslow had a serious drug problem..That would be the only reason Someone could do ALL 7 movies.. That or you have no other offers coming in..

First off.. I am not always bashing the Hagerstown Suns.. But shit like this I JUST have to!!!

You expect people to fork over 500 dollars a NIGHT to watch games in this?? You are joking right?

I have stood in this "suite" before games,And let me tell those of you who have never seen it.. It is an area of about 12x20.Maybe alittle more.. It sits,And I am not lying ..About 45 feet from just behind first base...

There are NO walls(Ok I lied).. There is a wall on the back.. There is no screen to protect you from the foul balls that will(And trust me they will)fly into that area..

I totally understand the Suns need to make money.. And no one is against that,But to charge that much for bar stools and a couple tables with no protection,Just doesn't make sense..

I have noticed in the last few days the Suns have also started work on the "new" VIP seating in the grandstand area..Still not a huge fan of this move,But again,If it makes the Suns money and keeps them around I am happy..

Just noticed on the Hagerstown Suns schedule that West Virginia does not come into the Hub city until July.. The Power is Pittsburgh's Low A Minor League team..And should be pretty good.. I am wondering how many of the guys will be there when they get to Hagerstown ...

It's been a very slow time since our Mighty McBeams turned over Lombardi Trophy number 7. And yes,I will admit this was a painful loss..My immediate behavior after the game was NOT the way I should have handled the loss,But I guess when you get used to winning it gets harder to deal with losses.

This brings me back to Super Bowl 30.. The Steelers went up against a very tough Dallas Cowboy team. This was the night I broke a remote control after the last O'Donnell interception. I do not think I had ever been so pissed off during or after a game as I was at that time.
The only other time I think I have ever been this pissed off during a sporting event? That would have been game 7 of the 1992 NLCS..

Damn that is hard to watch..Even almost 20 years later!!Some of you may have heard a certain announcer in that video,1 That I would go on and make a foul mouth impression of..And with that out of the way.. Let's get bsck to Random Ramblings shall we..

What am I writing about? It's about the City of Frederick,And the issuing of a request for proposal.

What does this mean? Basically it means the City could entertain bids from other leagues..And quite honestly the only other league that could apply is Independent Leagues..

I am not knocking Indy ball,But having a farm team of a Major League club is not something every city can have.

There is nothing more exciting for a baseball fan watch a guy go from just a draft pick,To starting in the Major Leagues.. I have had the time of my life watching some of the future stars of many different teams over the last few years,Something I did not have back in Pennsylvania..

The Frederick Keys offer a great product,At a very good price.. Sadly I wish I could have gone to more games last season,But economics and such played a part in me not getting there as much as I would enjoy..

I am not even close to being a fan of the Orioles,They actually may be 1 of the teams I kind of despise,But I hope the City of Frederick does not make a huge mistake,And think they can get more money.Yes the lease may be worth more,But in the end how much do you lose by betraying a very loyal fan base..

Below is the open letter sent to Keys fans by the Keys front office..I quite honestly hope they can reach an agreement soon.. Here's looking forward to many,Many more seasons of Keys baseball..

Hello Keys Fans,

This letter is written to inform you of our current lease for Harry Grove Stadium with the City of Frederick.

Over the last ten months through current lease negotiations, the Frederick Keys have wanted nothing more than to make a long-term commitment to the City of Frederick in the way of a long-term lease. We have pushed for this in each of our last three negotiations with the City of Frederick (2007, 2009 and 2011) but the City of Frederick has pushed for a short-term lease. In fact twice during the fall we believed we had reached an understanding on the terms of a long-term lease with the City of Frederick only to have the City take a step back.

In the past few weeks the Keys have signed a lease to keep the team in Frederick through the end of the 2011 season. The City of Frederick has decided however to issue a Request for Proposal that will open the stadium lease up for bids for future occupancy.

We are an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles meaning that all of our players are scouted, drafted and signed by the Orioles with Frederick a step in the ladder towards their big league dream. Since this is our territory, we are the only affiliated baseball team that may apply. The only other baseball teams that can submit an RFP would be that of an independent league which would not be affiliated with a major league organization.

This is our home.

The Frederick Keys have been a local passion as an Orioles affiliate here since 1989. In that time more than 100 players have gone from the Keys into the major leagues. We want nothing more than to see 100 more come through the ranks over the next two decades.

Below are some facts about our lease with the City of Frederick for Harry Grove Stadium and the impact Keys baseball makes on our area.

In the eight-team Carolina League the City of Frederick currently has a very favorable lease for a landlord. The Frederick Keys currently pay the second highest rent in the league. The Frederick Keys are one of just two teams in the league who pay a ten percent admission tax. The Frederick Keys are one of four teams in our league that pays all of our stadium’s utilities.
The Frederick Keys have taken on over $1.6 million in stadium expenses from The City of Frederick in the last four years. These include the expenses of stadium maintenance and repairs, field expenses, utilities, relating operational staff expenses, and our own lease-holder improvements.
The Frederick Keys generate over $10 million in annual economic impact to Frederick which includes out-of-county attendee spending, team and players spending, facility spending, concessionaire spending, and non-baseball events.
The Frederick Keys pay nearly $500,000 annually in combined City/County/State taxes to include admission & amusement, sales & use, and withholding taxes.
The Frederick Keys community involvement is valued at nearly $400,000 annually which includes donations, appearances, ticket fundraisers, marketing opportunities, and various other programs and events.
The Frederick Keys are the highest drawing minor league baseball team in the State of Maryland drawing nearly 300,000 fans a year to Harry Grove Stadium. The Keys have never finished lower than third in league attendance in the 22-year history of the franchise.

At this time we ask our Keys family to reach out and contact our local officials to let them know you want Keys baseball to stay for future generations.

Well it is better late then ever..I guess I'm not really late..There is over 16 hours to go before kickoff..And probably could have wrote this during the coma induced pre game crap that starts around 9am..

This is the Super Bowl I did not want.. My favorite team against..Against my QB in Fantasy Football. OK..It's more then that,I mean I actually do like the Packers..They play the same kind of football,The tough defense,1 Of the best QB's in the league..And stats?

I could go all day,Telling you the Packers and Steelers were separated in defensive stats by a few points here,A few yards there.. The easier thing to do is watch games.. You have 9 Pro Bowlers playing in this game(Maurkice Pouncey is now on IR) Both quarterbacks should have been named,But Peyton Manning MUST be selected every season,Or his giant 5 head may exploed..

I have picked the Packers all season..They have lost 6.. And yes,I have picked the Mighty McBeams all season also.. And they lost 4.. And no, I am picking my winner on that stat.. Just sayin..

So it comes down to this.. Does Aaron Rodgers make Packer faithful forget about a certain douchebag who used to wear#4? And bring the Lombardi Trophy back home to Green Bay..

Hagerstown Suns Charge For Parking...

Yes it's only 1 dollar..But the fact that they have now raised ticket prices,AND are charging for parking.. Makes me believe that the new General Manager won't be in Hagerstown next year...

I understand most of the stuff they are doing is probably related to the Suns"Hoping" that they get prized prospect Bryce Harper(#1 Nationals,And #3 Milb prospect).. But What happens As Shawn has pointed out could happen, If Harper somehow wows the Nationals,And gets promoted long before anyone would have thought?I will tell you what happens..Hagerstown loses out on 100's if not thousands of tickets they normally could sell.. But Mike,Wouldn't fans come out anyways? Not really.. If you increase tickets by at least 3 dollars in a section that has been General Admission since the dawn of time,And then start charging to park on the Muni lot..You think in this economy people are going to spend money they really don't have? Baseball games are not something you HAVE to do...And I am willing to bet the Suns front office will find this out by seasons end,New Video board and all..

Thousands trapped in cars as Snowmaggedon hits the area...

I am not making that number up.. People were stuck in cars on all the major interstates(Except I-81 for some reason).Here's the thing,The federal government let employees leave 2 -3 hours early.Now most of them usually leave around 3 or 4.. So they "should have well on their way home right? Not so much.. What happened was a cluster fuck of biblical proportions.. Major interstates turned into parking lots for over 12 hours.. Snowplows unable to clear roads, Because of the cars,And trucks on the road..This after being told to stay off the roads...

There is really 1 fast way to fix this.. 1)Atlanta 2010 Record 13-3

If there was a favorite,And after this crazy season of parody I do not think there is such a thing as a favorite.. Atlanta would be about the only team I can honestly say has a shot.. They pretty much never lose at home,A well balanced team,And having a first round bye gets them rested.. Downside,They may end up getting Green Bay in a rematch of a classic game they had in Atlanta.. I will not lie and say I know a ton about the Falcons,Just some of the games I have seen them play..But this is a very good team,You don't get a 13-3 record by luck.. 2)Chicago 2010 Record 11-5

So.. I can only hope the NFL decides to fix a system that until this season was not deemed to be fine.. That is until the NFC Worst decided that no one wanted to actually have a winning record..I watched the Sunday night game with Seattle and St Louis.. That had to be one of the worst games I have ever seen..And I watched Buffalo/Cleveland 2009!!! No way they get even close to a playoff game if the Rams actually ran the ball in that game.. 1)New England Patriots.. 2010 Record 14-2.

Honestly.. I hate 2 teams..Yes hate is a strong word..But holy shit I can't stand ,Loathe,Dislike ,And yes by god Hate New England!! They have had Pittsburgh's number over the years.. Nothing would make me happier to see Pittsburgh head into New England,And kick the shit out them..Just a bit of pay back..

But as much as I hate them,Let's face it..They are good..Damn good..

Has Tom Brady even thrown an interception since mid season? 2)Pittsburgh Steelers.. 2010 Record 12-4

Pittsburgh started the season 3-1 under Dennis Dixon/Charlie Batch.. With Large Ben under center they went 9-3 the rest of the way.. The Steelers 2 biggest losses were to the Saints by 10,And the Patriots by 13..1 thing the Patriots showed was you can throw against this team.. Under 10 yard shots here and there.. Brady carved them up doing this.. 1 Can hope the Steelers work on pass coverage in the next 2 weeks.. Remember what I said about hating 2 teams?This would fall under the loathe section..

I guess all those years of resting everyone on the last week has come back to bit them in the ass.. Nothing would make my week a little brighter then this team to take out the #5 seed.. Before we get to those scumbags,The 2010 Chiefs were quite a surprise.. I honestly do not understand standing in line for anything.. I have never waited in line for concert tickets,Or baseball tickets(Other then waiting for gates to open).. Pittsburgh pulled out the win last week in Miami(Some people think we paid for it.Read the post below if you're 1 of them!!)

New Orleans was beat down last week by the Browns..Aaron Smith is out for the year with a torn triceps,Ziggy Hood now takes over the run stopping slot left by Smith..What makes that a little easier is the fact that Reggie Bush,And Pierre Thomas will not play..

Make no mistake,The Steelers are kind of beat up on Defense,But should be able to make it out of New Orleans..Final Score Mighty McBeams 27-Who Dats 20..

Normally I haven't done a post after a Steelers game..But thanks to the whining and crying about how the Steelers were given the game.. I decided ..Why the fuck not...

Let's set the stage here shall we... 4TH quarter..Dolphins are up by 2...Steelers are driving,And Ben runs in for the score...But wait..He was hit by Chris Clemons right before he crossed the plane of the goal..

That's where the fun begins.. During the scrum..Ben,And 2 Dolphis are seen trying to grab the ball.Here's what NFL.com had to say about it..

With Pittsburgh trailing 22-20 and facing third-and-goal at the 2, Roethlisberger fumbled as he dived across the goal line on a quarterback draw.
The play was ruled a touchdown as both teams scrambled for the ball.

After a review, referee Gene Steratore announced Roethlisberger fumbled before scoring. But Steratore said replays were inconclusive regarding which team recovered, and the Steelers were awarded possession at the half-yard line, allowing Jeff Reed to kick an 18-yard field goal with 2:26 left.

"I have to have clear video evidence of the team recovering the fumble," Steratore said after the game. "It is a pile of bodies in there, and you don't have a clear recovery."

Hmmm... Did the ref blow the call? Maybe he did..But the fact the Dolphins STILL had 2 minutes plus to score,And did not is also a reason they lost...

The Dolphins converted 2 Pittsburgh turnovers into JUST field goals in the first quarter.. They left points on the table..Stop screaming and crying that:Fucking Pittsburgh has the refs in their pocket"

The more you do stupid shit like that,You get grouped in with Ravens,And Seahawks fans.. Ohhhh the refs made us lose..NO... YOU lost..Did the ref not catch a pass on thrid down?NO..

Did the refs fumble a ball.Causing the other team to score?NO!!!

I swear to god I have never seen such childish assholes when it comes to Pittsburgh winning a game that COULD have went either way.. Look..You root for your team,That's awesome,And I'm proud you love your team.. But to accuse the refs every time YOUR team fucks up??? Come on man!!!!

Have I blamed the refs for a loss.. NO, I have said they make bad calls..But I don't say
"Well such and such team has the refs in their pockets" Fuck that..Own up to it..My team got their asses handed to them..My team lost because we couldn't finish the other team off..

That's the problem with"fans" now..God forbid if your team does not win..Always a reason to bitch and cry..

NFL Pick Em's..Week 7

We had a great week with picks last week,Going 4-1,(I'm looking your way Green Bay!!!)

This week,Before I make my picks..I want to comment on the James Harrison debacle..Last week during the Browns/Steelers game,Harrison made 2 hits on Browns players..This will be the only time I talk about this in this blog.. Why you ask? Because there are way too many "experts"stating their cases about this..

I am not putting Harrison up for saint hood,The man has a history of troubles..Ask the folks who stood in line waiting to get an autograph from Harrison at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown how they feel...

Where the hits legal? Honestly it's such a close call..I have watched the replays,And yes,He did lead with his helmet,But only because in both instances the players did the natural thing..They dropped their heads down,And went into a brace for hit mode..

The problem I have with this whole thing? Harrison taking the classic "I'm taking my ball and going home stance".. Look,I understand he may be pissed off because he didn't think the hits were bad..But this is not the way you handle things James..And if you think for 1 minute that Harrison decided to come back on his own,You are a bigger fool then he is!! Don't tell me his agents,His coaches,And anyone else who stands to make a buck off of him would let him just walk away..

All I know is this should be a very interesting Sunday of football.. How many defenders will mess tackles up?

I would love to see a player just throw his hands up as he is going to tackle someone,And say I can't tackle this player without hurting him,Or being fined..So guess he gets a 65 yard touchdown.. But sadly I know this would never happen..

Large Ben returned last week,Going 16-27/257 yards/3 TD'S/1 INT.. Not bad numbers..Considering that Charlie Batch had 3td's,and 352 yards in 3 games..

I honestly see this being a game the Steelers just wreak havoc ..MOST of the guys know how to properly tackle someone,And those are the guys to watch this week..Actually James Harrison may kill someone this week..Just sayin... Final Score Fighting McBeams,34-Land Sharks 17..

Cleveland(1-5)At New Orleans(4-2)1PM CBS

Colt McCoy did well against a tough Steeler defense,That being said..The Browns MAY be in this game..For the first quarter.. Final Score..Brownie Bites 12-No longer aints,48....

Brett Farve returns to Lambeau Field in yet another "classic"matchup against his former team..Clay Matthews is probable for this game..Farve can only hope the hamstring that has been ailing Matthews is still not healed..Otherwise it could be a very long night for Mr Farve..This game actually has fantasy implications for me..I have 2 Packers and Randy Moss going for me.. All I can hope for is 3 td's for Moss.And then Rodgers tosses 4.. Final score Cheeseheads 35-Purple Headed Warriors 21..

New York(4-2)At Dallas(1-3) Mon About 8:30 PM ESPN..

The Andre's have been on a roll the last few weeks,Not just winning,But beating teams up..Dallas has been in every game they have played in..Just come up short in the end(That's what she said?)

In the weekly game I could give 2 shits about..And only pick because I have 1 Andre's fan,And 2 Cowboys fans who read this.. So....I am going to go against the logic(go figure)Final Score... Andre's 21-Brokebacks 28..Yes I am saying this is the upset of the week...
