As of 5PM on Friday,The 11TH of March The NFL as we know it may have disappeared..

All because of a billion dollars.. And I say all as sarcastic as I can.. How dare you greedy bastards complain about revenue,Or lack thereof when people are STILL losing homes..STILL losing jobs.. Real tragedies are going on as we speak.. With the destruction of parts of Japan due to a earthquake and tsunami ..

But yet you decided to pull the plug even though there you were"making progress".. Shame on you.

Ask Major League Baseball and the NHL how acting like greedy assholes who can't get enough money hurt them.. 1994 is long gone in the mirror,But MLB has never been the same since they decided to cancel a World Series,And cost the league millions of fans.

The NHL decided they could not be out done,They canceled the ENTIRE season.. What did it cost them?Billions in lost revenue..Millions of fans,And being stuck on Versus..I would not pay to have Versus just to see hockey,And I'm sure I'm not the only 1...

Mouths to feed and bills to pay.. How can I feel sorry for someone who makes,On average 10 -15 million dollars a year..And that's before you even count the free health care,Any kind of counseling you can think of,Free rides if they drink too much.. Really? You want to bitch and complain about having"bills to pay"?

I do not feel sorry for anyone involved in this deal.. I'm sitting at home, Waiting  on insurance companies to decide who will pay for my accident,That I did not cause. Meanwhile I have no income coming in,I do not get any kind of assistance,I do not get a driver to take me everywhere I need to go.. And I know I am not the only person that goes through this..And  you want me to pick sides with someone who is battling over BILLIONS of dollars?? Fuck and no!!!

I love the Steelers,I love football..But I can not,And will not side with players or owners when thousands of people have it a whole hell of alot  worse!!

What can be said for a VERY slow day in sports.The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks at PNC this afternoon 6-4.Shawn's favorite Bucco(Actually i like him,Shawn doesn't lol)Phil Dumatrait pitched 5 2/3 innings,Only giving up 2 runs on 4 hits,walking 2 and striking out 3 D backs.Jason Bay finished off the scoring for the Bucs in the 5 run 4TH inning to give the Bucs a 5-1 lead,And chasing D Backs starter Doug Davis after 3 2/3 innings .The Pirates added a insurance run in the 5Th inning off a Jack Wilson single,Scoring Raul Chavez.Leading the Pirates 10 hit attack today,Adam LaRoche,Who went 3 for 4 .Dumatrait has allowed 4 earned runs in 18 2/3 innings,And his ERA in that span is 1.93. Bucs Dugout - Has an interesting article on the Pirates pitchers feeling uneasy when Catcher Ronnie Paulino was starting, Maybe that's why he isn't now?The Bucs record now stands at 30-33.Last year on this date,Our record was 26-35.We may be turning the corner,Matt CAPPS has 14 saves on the year,And 32 of 34 since taking over last year as the closer.Capps' .941 save % is the best in the NL since he took over in 2007.Kasey Khane won the Nascar race at Pocono,I'm sure the 3 milf's that are in his commercials will be chasing him down at a donut stand or something now,Insert smirk here.I'm not a huge Basketball fan,And after seeing Paul Pierce wailing like Nancy Kerrigan the other night,I'm even less of a fan.You're telling me his team mates carried him off the court,Into a wheel chair,But he still comes back and plays like nothing happened?Typical Boston/New York show boating in motion.
