Well I'm, sure some of you were wondering how long would it take to get the NFC side of the playoffs covered,Now you can stop your wondering.. Today we will look at the six teams in The NFC that are battling for a shot at being World Champion..
1)Atlanta 2010 Record 13-3
If there was a favorite,And after this crazy season of parody I do not think there is such a thing as a favorite.. Atlanta would be about the only team I can honestly say has a shot.. They pretty much never lose at home,A well balanced team,And having a first round bye gets them rested.. Downside,They may end up getting Green Bay in a rematch of a classic game they had in Atlanta.. I will not lie and say I know a ton about the Falcons,Just some of the games I have seen them play..But this is a very good team,You don't get a 13-3 record by luck.. Odds of Super Bowl victory. 63.50%
2)Chicago 2010 Record 11-5
So.. This is where the so called weakness in the NFC starts to show.Chicago on paper is a good team,But you have Jay Cutler as your QB...You are never sure which Cutler shows up..The 1 who has a flawless game,No int's.Maybe 3 or 4 touchdowns.Or.. You get the sacked 9 times, Throws 3 or 4 interceptions... Kind of a crap shoot. Good luck betting on this team.. Odds of Super Bowl victory..33.25%
3)Philadelphia 2010 Record 10-6
There is now way..No way I can even attempt to hope this team advances beyond this weekend..Why you ask? Well there is a couple reasons..They are the other Pa team,They are playing against the Packers(My NFC team) And.. The QB is a convicted dog killer!!! That alone should be more then enough. Have fun watching at home Philly.. Odds of Super Bowl victory...15.111111%
4)Seattle... 2010 Record 7-9
GASP!!! Holy fuck are you joking??? This team sucks on ice..And they are given a home game??? They are fucking 7-9! I can only hope the NFL decides to fix a system that until this season was not deemed to be fine.. That is until the NFC Worst decided that no one wanted to actually have a winning record..I watched the Sunday night game with Seattle and St Louis.. That had to be one of the worst games I have ever seen..And I watched Buffalo/Cleveland 2009!!! No way they get even close to a playoff game if the Rams actually ran the ball in that game.. Odds of Super Bowl Victory....9.989999%.. And that is if The other teams just collapse..
5)New Orleans 2010 Record 11-5
Here is the reason the NFL should redo the playoff system.. The defending Champs have a better record then the team they are visiting.. The Saints are banged up,Having put 2 RB's on the IR this week alone..But..They are the defending Champs..Odds of Super Bowl victory..64.50%
6)Green Bay 2010 Record 10-6
This could be a very dangerous sleeper team..If Aaron Rodgers gets hot,Green Bay could be unstoppable.. Plus having the leagues top defense couldn't hurt either.. I'm almost sure they make it at least to the NFC Championship game.. Odds of Super Bowl victory 72.50%
Yes That is it..I am sure you may disagree with my odds.. And if that is the case..Comment, If you don't have a Gmail account, It's easy to sign up.. Plus you can also vote for this timy little blog to win in the Blogger awards.. Last years blog won with 68 votes.. I'm sure we can get that!!

More Crying Seattle Fans 4 Years Later

This is such an over hyped story,But a Seahawks fan,Bitter that his team did not win Super Bowl XL,Wrote a letter to Dan Rooney complaining about the Steelers victory,And is selling said letter on EBAY.I will comment on each section of this letter.
Like many long-time die hard Seattle Seahawks fans, on February 5th, 2006 I was flabbergasted that the NFL and Bill Leavy’s officiating crew in Super Bowl XL would so deliberately play favorites to the Pittsburgh Steelers, effectively eliminating any chance that the Seahawks had of winning that championship game.
OK,Die hard Seahawks fan? That's a joke.Well there are a ton of things to debate in just the first paragraph,Flabbergasted? If you were really upset, i think pissed off works SO much better. And for the 999,999TH time,THE REFS DIDN'T WIN THE GAME ASSHOLE!!!How much of that shitty Seattle fish are you eating to think that the refs,Camera crews,Players,And the Commissioner could be in a plan to "screw" the Seahawks out of this game?Next paragraph
Within a week of the game, I had written a five-page letter to then NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue carefully detailing the many bad calls that had gone against the Seahawks for imaginary penalties, and the non-calls that had been ignored for the Steelers all game long in a transparent effort to prevent the Seahawks from winning the game. I also attached a number of newspaper articles and editorials that expressed outrage over the officiating to further bolster my case. I copied the letter to Seahawks owner Paul Allen and Steelers owner Dan Rooney.
I'm sure it took you a week to figure out how to actually string words together,And make complete sentences,Imaginary penalties?Oh so the Seahawks didn't do anything wrong the entire game?I mean other the not showing up?Where is Paul Allen's copy of the letter?I'm sure he burned his without even worrying about replying to such a shit eating knuckle dragger. At least Mr Rooney replied. In his replies he should have started with,Dear asshole. But alas he didn't. Next Paragraph
Lo and behold just a couple weeks later I received a personal reply from Dan Rooney himself, which was copied to Commissioner Tagliabue, attempting to refute my concerns about the officiating. Mr. Rooney wrote, in part: “You are something special -- you watch a TV broadcast of Super Bowl XL with all the interruptions, camera locations, replays, and now know more than anyone else in America on what was wrong with the officiating.” Wow! I guess I really got his attention and got under his skin! Mr. Rooney goes on to supplement the letter with a two-page 20-point explanation of why the Steelers “really” did outplay the Seahawks for the Lombardi Trophy
I really wish Dan would have said "You are a complete fucking moron with way too much time on your hands" instead of "You are something special"Special is correct though,I'm sure you ride that "special"bus to work and school don't ya?Next
For Steelers fans, this would be a great acquisition to show your beloved owner giving the business to an uppity Seahawks fan who was complaining about the Super Bowl XL officiating. For Seahawks fans, this would likewise be a great acquisition conclusively demonstrating the insecurity of the Steelers over their supposed “win.”
You know why it would be a great addition?Someone could wipe their ass with the copy of your letter,And hang the Rooney letter showing he has a place in his heart for the special people.Supposed win?Last time I checked,The Steelers have the Lombardi Trophy in their case,What do you have? You have 4 years of being bitter and angry because your team did not show up.
Don't give me any shit,Stevens couldn't catch a cold(Even though he said he was going to rack up huge numbers)Alexander did not do anything,And this was the year before he started his breakdown tour. Holgrem was out coached,And the Seahawks were outplayed,Plain and simple. I enjoy reading how Pittsburgh always cheats.Amazing how you can win 5(Coming soon 6)Super Bowl trophies,And it's all from cheating.
I am going to make my Super Bowl picks later this week.Although I know I am going to root for my Steelers,Not sure of the score yet.See,Unlike some fans If my team loses I don't cry saying we got screwed by the refs calls. And you can guarantee next week at this time if the Steelers in fact lose,I will not be saying the refs wanted the Cards to win,No I will tell you they won the game by playing better,And by being coached better. Now I wish other fans could just learn to use that kind of sense.
Here's the link to this masterpiece Angry letter from the Steelers Dan Rooney re: SB XL - eBay (item 270335449645 end time Feb-04-09 11:19:57 PST)

Anyone who knows me knows i enjoy a good joke,And sometimes there is a line between good judgement,And bad judgement.Someone forgot to tell the assholes at a Seahawks website this. The text below is taken from that website,And if you are offended easily, I suggest you not read this.I will make a few comments after the text
"With over another week to get to know each other we here at The Huddle thought we'd roll out out the ol' welcoming wagon. In so doing, we thought we'd share with you some jokes to help brighten your day. Enjoy. "
A Giants fan went home on 9/11 and told his wife that he almost died. "My buddy Stan and I were running toward one tower after the other one fell, he said, "But then Stan got hit by a jumper! Thirty seconds later, the north tower collapsed. If Stan didn't get hit, we both would have been goners!"
The Giants fan's wife turned to him and said, "Is this going to be a long story?"

Knock knock!!
Knock knock who?
Knock knock knocked all your towers down!
Q: What's Al Qaida's favorite football team?
A: The New York Jets
Q: What does WTC stand for?
A: What Trade Centre?
Q: What's 9 divided by 11 divided by 01?
A: A good investment in real estate. (A temporary dip in the price of downtown real estate, followed by an almost 100% increase over the next five years.)
Q: What color were Mohammed Atta's eyes?
A: Blue. One blue this way, the other blue that way!
Q: What's the biggest difference between 9/11 and the Oklahoma City Bombing?
A: Foreigners once again prove they can do it better and more efficiently.
Q: When does a pentagon have four sides?
A: When it intersects a plane.
Have you heard about the decision about the memorial at the WTC site?
The city decided to go with an open park and the worlds largest franchise of the "International House of Pancakes!"
Q: How many New Yorkers does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Nobody knows since they keep jumping out the window when it gets too hot!
Q: How long does it take to reach the ground from 107 stories up?
A: The rest of your life!
Well, 9/11 sure proves one thing... New Yorkers can really come together in a crunch!

"Dont get your panties in a knot, they are just jokes...obviously there is more than one person in the united states who has written/read these jokes, so dont point fingers that we are the insesitive ones."
"I kind of like it, because now New Yorkers dont think they are so invincible anymore.
Ok,First thing I have to say is this, When did it become PC to make jokes like this about a tragedy that pretty much affected everyone in the United States?
Anyone who knows me at all, Knows i will make a joke about pretty much anything. But after reading that horse shit,Even I was offended! And this is coming from someone who made a joke about Paul Newman's passing today.
If this post upset you, or pissed you off, Good,You are still a decent human!I'll end this with 1 thing.Seattle keeps showing the rest of the Country why it deserves to be stuck in dank, rainy town! And sorry Shawn,I'll be rooting for a Giants victory on Oct,5 ..
