Bucs Implode

The Pittsburgh Pirates were on the short end of a 4-3 loss last night against the Florida Marlins.I did not see the game,And kind of glad i didn't, But from various reports, This game was typical 2007 stuff.Matt Morris lasted just 5 innings, giving up 3 runs.But he also looked worse then usual(not something you really want to hear)Not going to give alot of detail on this game,My opinion about Morris?He was picked up when Dave Littlefield knew he was a goner,The Captain wanted to show he could go out and get the high priced players,Only problem was, The money used to pick up Morris, Could have been used to pick this guy.Matt Wieters,I was in Fredrick last night to watch the Lynchburgh Hillcats take on The Fredrick Keys and all i can say i am impressed by him.All Matt did was walk his first at bat,Then proceeded to hit 2 home runs,One of which STILL may be airborne.Now i know some of my readers may not know the story about Weiters,And Dan Moskos,So here's your history lesson of the day.In the 2007 draft,Dave Littlefield had a few very good players to choose from for his pick,Problem was,Our friend the Captain decided to pick on the cheap,And went with Moskos,Over Weiters,Dan is a very nice guy,And may turn out to be a very good pitcher,But the needs of the Pirates was not a closer, they need hitters,and a lot of them.We ran into a couple of the Lynchburg players before the game, and they remembered myself,And Shawn from Hagerstown,From our shouting of SWEEP,SWEEP lol.. Sadly Lynchburgh lost the game 7-3. Same 2 teams in action at Fredrick again today,And tomorrow..
