OK, Maybe not ever,But tonight's Hagerstown Suns game ranks up there as 1 of the worst!Where do i begin?Maybe paying 3 extra bucks for a Feed Your Face Monday,And the only thing they have as an extra from the ballpark food?Potato Chips,I'm not making this shit up.Oh there was chili also,Now there's a great idea,Hey kids i know you wanted something other then ballpark food,How about some chili?Can you think of anything quite as messy as chili,In a bowl,Walking around a ballpark?If that wasn't bad enough,The "free stuff"was just plain nasty!Ever had popcorn chicken that had grease inside?How about french fries that were overcooked,And tasted like the above mentioned chicken?Once that debacle was over,The longest 9 inning game i swear i have ever attended took place: Scoreboard:Go ahead and look at the box score,I'll wait for you to get back......Well wasn't that nice?They say it was length of the game was 3:11,What they don't tell you is that the first 2 innings took over 1 hour and 20 minutes!!!This game was almost as bad as the 22-1 laugher at The Muni last season,Hell that game was faster.After the game Shawn and I ran into Mike,Who's blog can be read hereA Bag Full of Health and Politics.Mike, If you happen to read this, Very nice meeting you,And talking some baseball!I'll be back in a few minutes with another post,One I'm hoping you all will enjoy

The 8-7 balk game last year was a longer game (I believe that was a 3:55 9 inning game). The free hat was nice. And if you got there early, the fries weren't too bad. *NEVER* buy fries at Municipal Stadium after the first inning. The actual popcorn was ok too, so were the nachos. I didn't see the chili! If I had, I would've ate--err spilled--some of it.
It was nice to meet you. Hope the next game is better than that one was.

LOL!! Shawn and i were at that balk game,we were going nuts on the ump last 2 innings or so.one of those nights the sideshow they put on was ignored,and baseball really mattered..Be careful about the fries also, never know when they'll put oven cleaner on them!
I believe we briefly met in the parking lot that game. But it was a long time ago now. I think that remains the best $7 I've spent on a baseball game. The entire crowd razzing the umps was fun!
