I have been wanting to do a post the last few days,But after learning of longtime Atlanta Braves broadcaster Skip Caray's passing at 68 I figured it was time I post.
Anyone that knows me,Has probably heard me doing the Skip caray voice.It started out with me just saying Chipper Jones,Well that wasn't all the world of Skip brought us.Over the last couple years I've added more and more foul language to Skip's play by play of a game.Always made fun of him.
But in reality,I have to admit, I actually did enjoy hearing him call play by play(except in the first seconds of the video below)
Skip was Atlanta Braves Baseball, Just like his dad,Harry was Cubs Baseball. Skip leaves behind 2 sons in broadcasting,Chip,Who does MLB broadcasts for TBS,And Josh who does Rome Braves Baseball.
A few weeks ago,I was at The Muni,Watching the Suns with Shawn,And jason.Of course I had to break into Skip,Just starting with the Chipper Jones,And ending up as a idea to make a blog post of Skip Caray talking about late night Porn.
Here's to you Skip,I'm sure Harry has a ice cold Budweiser ready for ya..Braves Win,Braves Win
