The Hagerstown Suns welcomed the West Virginia Power to the Muni on Saturday,And the visitors were not very good guests.
Rudy Owens took the hill for the Power against Suns starter Paul Demny. The Power did not look like a 8-19 team that came into this series.West Virginia outhit the Suns 13-8 in a 10-4 thumping before a "crowd"of 1,033.Rudy Owens got the win for the Power and goes to 3-1 on the year
The Suns and Power would the split a doubleheader on Sunday.By scores of 5-4 Power,And 9-7 Suns. Both teams back at it Monday afternoon(Weather permitting)

Sun Spots
Usually I would talk about the Suns in this section,But since West Virginia is the Pirates class A farm team,I will talk about them .
I was shocked at the crowd on Saturday night,The 1,033 in the stands were mostly Pirate fans,Something I am not used to but happy to see!
Didn't get to see SS Chase D'Arnaud play on Saturday,I'll have to check with Shawn on how he played Sunday.
1 of the players that I'll remember from this series,1B Calvin Anderson,The man is 6'7 and can swing the lumber, His average at the moment is .322 with 29 hits in 25 games not bad at all.
Sadly I did not get to see Chase play on Saturday,But I did get a couple cards signed,And he has of the nicest autographs I have seen.
On the subject of autographs,Even the guys I did not have stuff for, But overheard them as they signed,They all said thank you.Still not used to players saying thank you for having to sign.
And from the it would not be the Muni if something didn't happen during high winds report,
A tent/shelter used for the serving area was blown over the fence in left field,And caused about a 5 minute delay in the game.Hoping to have a picture of that.
And what Suns Spots would be complete without giving a shout out to Shawn,Ryan,HankAnd Luke,Always a great time had when a bunch of us get together,Talk baseball,And whatever else comes to mind.Also it was nice talking to Wilbur from wtmiller/pirateprofiles.htm

LOL kinda guess that Hank.. yeah I still have no clue what the fuck they were doing,but I know 1 thing, they would have tried that with 1 of our group.. they may have pulled back a bloody stump!!
