And The Trades Keep On Coming!
I think they should post a note on the clubhouse door at PNC Park,Last man out turn off the lights!!The Bucs have made 3 trades in the last 2 days,Sending Freddy Sanchez to the Giants,Jack Wilson to the Mariners,Along with Ian Snell..The Bucs were not done yet,Sending John(torch)Grabow and Tom Gorzelanny to the Cubs.
In return the Pirates have gotten back,And I'll have to double check this number 9 players..Out of the 9,2 may be ready to join the Bucs,The others will be in the Minor Leagues..I'm going to talk more about the players sent to Pittsburgh in my next post,Say what you want about the Pirates front office(And there has been A LOT of talk)But this was not a salary dump.
The Pirates even gave Seattle $3,000,000 in the Wilson/Snell deal. What does this do to the Battlin Bucs of the 3 rivers? This and many more questions should be answered in the upcoming series against the Washington Nationals. Former Pirate RP Sean Burnette has his take. Burnett: Pirates the 'laughingstock of baseball'
Yeah I'll listen to a guy who was traded from a shitty team to an even shittier team..
I'll also try and get a report from RS,I know he'll be catching the West Virginia Power take on the Hagerstown Suns at least tomorrow night,If he hasn't already caught 1 game ..As I've said before,I trust Shawn's word on all things Baseball,And I'm sure he'll be watching.
