Catching Up

Yes It has been awhile since we have done anything other then the worst bands series.. And I am sorry for that..

With the schedule at work,Leaves me less time to get a lot done.. But since it's a 3 day weekend,It's time we get back to doing what I enjoy!!


New York awarded Super Bowl 48..

First off,It's New Jersey,NOT  New York.. The Andre's and the Cessna's play in the Garden State,Not New York.. And I am sick and tired of hearing Mike Florio from Profootballtalk.com whine about this game being played outdoors..

Where was football played BEFORE domed stadiums?Outside you dim witted asshole!!!

If a NFL player complains about playing in the Super Bowl outside,Then he doesn't belong there!!! Football is The frozen tundra,The drive,The Immaculate Reception,And sadly,The Tuck rule.. Guess where they all happened?Yes,Outdoors!

Is there a chance that the weather could be ugly? Hell yes.. But isn't that what we love about the NFL?If you are crying because YOU have to sit outside and watch a game in Feb,Then you are not really a fan!!

Bottom line here,This may be 1 of the best Super Bowls in history,And it all depends on which 2 teams make it,Let's just hope it's not 2 teams that call a dome their home..We will never hear the end of it...

The Pittsburgh Pirates are 20-30 as of today..Think about this,If Charlie Morton doesn't pitch in 9 of these games,AND they would have won the,,..Your Pittsburgh Pirates would be sitting 9 games over 500,And 1 game behind the Reds in the NL Central lead.. Of course if you go with what ifs and could Be's,We all could be driving new cars,And Living in a under the sea house...Go figure..


The NHL awards the 2011 Winter Classic to Pittsburgh!!

Washington at Pittsburgh January 1,2011.. The NHL has picked Heinz Field for the location..Yes I am very happy the Pens got the Classic,But I honestly think PNC Park would have been a much better location.. And yes I am aware that there is about 33,000 more seats at the big Ketchup Bottle..But PNC would offer a more scenic setup..
