Howard Eskin was the "sideline reporter" during the Eagles/Steelers game on Thursday night, He is the only "reporter" claiming the football was deflated so badly..
The NFL issued the following statement.
.All footballs were in compliance with NFL rules following the pregame inspection process and all proper procedures were followed," NFL vice president of football communications Michael Signora said in a statement. "In the third quarter, a football that was found to be defective was removed from play, will be sent back to Wilson for review."
So what we have is a so called reporter for the home team, Who by the way is in charge of footballs ,And inflation of said footballs, Claiming this ball is illegal..
Are you sure this isn't just the fact the home team Eagles were beaten 31-14?
You know, The World Champion Philadelphia Eagle..Who played a good chunk of their starters.
The Steelers. Laundry Jones and basically 2 rookies under center.. Howard can cry all he wants, As the NFL said, This will not be a pre season deflate gate
