Alittle draft Recap

I figured since i had alittle(OK,Alot)Of free time, i would go over a few things that caught my eye during the 2008 NFL draft.From time to time,You'll have a guy,For whatever reasons drops like a rock to the bottom of the draft.This years?Brian Brohm?Chad Henne?The last 2 brought comic relief if you were watching the draft,The shear look of disgust on Henne's face as he slipped lower,And lower was worth every second,But the big "winner" would be Mario Manningham.First,I'd like it to be known i do have a slight dislike for anything Michigan,Thank Shawn for that one,But only seeing a couple games Mario played in, I was not impressed.Yes he had 72 receptions,But he also had 141 thrown his way,That's just under half folks.Click on the link,And read Mario's story,But also look at his stats.Why the Giants drafted him i will never understand,They already have a guy just like him in SINORICE MOSS. The Steelers decided to grab QB Dennis Dixon out of Oregon with their 5Th rounder.On paper this looks like the backup of the future to Large Ben,But i would not rule out a return of the slash type WR/QB/RB,Hell maybe even CB.This is his injury report(courtesy NFL.com)2007: Suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the fourth quarter on a running play vs. Arizona State (11/03)...Played the next week vs. Arizona, but re-injured the knee on a sack in the first quarter and sat out the rest of the year, undergoing reconstructive surgery in December.
