Glad you asked. .‘Bear’ spotted in Hagerstown turns out to be a Chow Chow dog
Hagerstown police responded Monday at about 2:30 p.m. to reports of a black bear sighting in the area of South Prospect Street.
Officers who arrived reported seeing a young bear, Lt. Mark Holtzman said Tuesday morning.
Officers called the Department of Natural Resources, but before DNR arrived, a senior officer at the scene indentified the animal as a dog, specifically a Chow Chow.
Hagerstown police spent about 20 minutes working the incident Monday afternoon, Holtzman said. Here's my problem with this, You're telling me that local police can't tell the difference between a bear, and a chow?Look, i understand that some chows get to be pretty good size,But bear size? Jeesh what are they feeding thse dogs now.. Just figured i would share this little nugget of joy with you all, and be back later with a actual post
