Odds and ends

Time to make up for the last few trying days,And get back to talking about the Pirates,And Penguins news during the past 3 days.The Pens really have nothing new to talk about,We know the team they will face for the Stanley Cup.The Detroit Red Wings will host our Pens starting Saturday at Joe Louis Arena.After being dead on,and saying the Pens would win in 5 last series,I will go with 6 this time around.St Louis is a much better team all around then the Flyers we beat in 5.In Penguin related news,The Igloo will be open for the 2 road games,For 5 dollars you can watch the game on the jumobtron,Plus concession,And souvenir stands will be open for all the die hard fans.all proceeds will go to the Mario Lemieux Foundation for cancer and neonatal research,Which is a very good thing to do for a great cause!The Pirates quest to get away from that magical 500 record has worked for now, After dropping the first 2 games against the Brewers at Pnc Park their record is now 21-25.As of this writing the Bucs were winning 6-3.With bases loaded and 1 out.I'm sure they'll hit into a double play(Editors note,so far they have scored 2 in the inning,And that's all they got.. 8-3 as of now)I may be back alittle later with another post
