Ian Snell continued his obsession with walks tonight at The Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati against the Reds with 7,Count em 7 walks!His line from tonight's game,7 runs,6 hits,6 K's,And the ever present 7 walks in 5 innings work.There either has to be something wrong with Snell,Or he is trying too hard.One way or another this has to be fixed,And fixed soon.The Bucs took off to 1-0 lead in the 2ND,Joggin Ronny Paulino hit a single to deep right scoring Jose Bautista,And of course Joggin Ronny was promptly tagged out at 2ND while trying for the extra base.The Bucs score in the 3rd,And 5Th innings to make it a 3-0 Bucs lead.That would quickly change with 3 walks in a row by Snell,After a sac fly made it 3-1 Bucs,Adam Dunn hit a shot that was 2 rows from leaving the park to make it 4-3 Reds.The floodgates would then open up in the bottom of the 6Th.2 hits,And yet another walk loaded the bases,And ended Snell's night.The Reds would add 4 more runs in the inning,And added an insurance run in the bottom of the 7Th when rookie Jay Bruce smacked a double to deep right making it 9-4. Adam Laroche,And of all people Ronny Paulino would hit home runs in the 9Th to close the gap to 9-6.Francisco Cordero would come in and shut the Bucs down.. Final score 9-6,Drive home safely.Tonight's game marked the debut of promising rookie Jay Bruce,And he lived up to his hype going 3-3 and 2 rbi's.Same 2 teams Wednesday night.The Frederick Keys have announced that longtime manager Tommy Thompson has been replaced as manager by former Pirate Richie Hebner.Thompson had left the team for "personal reasons" before the May 16Th series against Lynchburg.Hebner joined the team on Monday.The keys have lost both games with Hebner aboard as new skipper,Good luck in Frederick Richie!The Hagerstown Suns were beaten in 11 innings by the Kannapolis Intimidators 10-9.
