Bucs Get Snelled,Odds And Ends

Sorry for the lack of post the last couple days, Had a job interview Tuesday,And started that job this morning.Thank god i did not watch the 16-5 smack down laid on the Pittsburgh Pirates last night against the White Sox in Chicago.Ian Snell continued his Jekyl/Hyde season, Only going 4 innings,Giving up 7 runs on 9 hits,And walking 6!Snell started the game being wild,Giving up 2 runs in the first inning.The Bucs would come back and score 4 in the second inning.Of course Snell was not quite finished with his"master piece"allowing a 3 run hr,Jose Buatista would then hit a solo shot to knot it up at 5.That's when the wheels fell off the wagon. A misplayed fly ball by Michaels, who started with Jason Bay out sick, spotted the White Sox one run. A balk by Snell helped allow Chicago to push the lead to 7-5 on a sacrifice fly. Goodnight Mr Snell,Enjoy the shower.This is Snell's quote after the game,"I don't think I was [aggressive enough]," said Snell (3-7). "I kind of [wimped] out on not using my fastball enough. It just felt like I could get nothing on the ball." Really? are ya sure?Thanks for that observation Mr Obvious,Also learned last night,The Sun did set,And There is no Santa Claus!I'm not even going to go over the "bullpens" help in this, Let's just say 9 runs!Sadly same 2 teams tonight at Whatever they are calling New Comisky these days.Tiger Woods 2008 Golf season is over,It seems Tiger has not only been playing on a knee with torn ligaments,But also a stress fracture! ouch!Woods will have surgery soon,But will miss the Ryder Cup among other events.I'll try and do an update later tonight.
