I'm listening to the Pirates game earlier(They lost 3-1 to the Mets) And jumped on CNN.com,Boy was I in for a treat this evening!It seems Bigfoot (Or at least 1 of them)Was found dead in a remote Georgia forest.If you would have told me 30 plus years ago that Bigfoot was real,I probably would have believed you.
Of course I was only 10 years old,And my brother had been researching UFO,And Bigfoot sightings(It was the 70's)So as I walked with my older sister,And 1 of our friends to his house,Which by the way was on dark,Wooded road,We happened to hear a noise,And not just any noise thank you very much,By god that was fucking Bigfoot making that noise(Or so I was told,Hey shoot me,I was a kid for craps sakes)So I did what any smart(And good looking I may add)Youngster would do,I ran like the wind!
Now picture this in your mind if you will.There were 3 things that happened
1)I ran as fast as I could,Almost through a door
2)Our friend running behind me,Thinking some Ape creature was going to kill him
3)And very far behind,My sister,Wearing my brothers work boots,And still trying to run as fast as she could
Of course there wasn't a Bigfoot(Or Big feet,Ya know, A family)But for all we knew,That son of a bitch was going to rip us apart,And have a nice dinner of 3.
OK, enough about that, Let's get back to the present day.According to the"finders"Of this Bigfoot,They say they found the 7'7",Over 500lb beast laying by a creek.Because we all know,When Bigfoot wants to die,They go to a creek bed!These guys were grilled for over a 1/2 an hour(Slow news day?)About their find,And this has to be the best quote i could find out all the articles.
Scientists, including the head of North Georgia College and State University's biology department, have said it's unlikely a tribe of 7-foot-tall creatures would have avoided discovery in a region popular among hikers, hunters and vacationers.
Nothing like "experts" popping their balloon right after they just got it inflated.
