On The Road

There's nothing like a road trip,And Monday the usual cast of characters got together again to take a drive to Lavale Maryland.

We arrived at the Country Club Mall at about 10AM,Figuring there would be a line waiting to get autographs from Pirate players Sean Burnette,Andy LaRoche,Catcher Ryan Doumit,Manager John Russell,And broadcaster Bob Walk.

And to our surprise,There was no line to speak of.So we decided to check out the mall,Which didn't take more then 20 minutes.So back into the now forming line we ventured.

I should add that winter weather slowed the Pirate Caravan down coming from Pittsburgh,The roads I'm sure were horrible in Pennsylvania(What a shock)

It was 11:30,And maybe closer to 12 when things started to get underway,And with anything that is a first time(No smart comments)There are bugs that need worked out.

SO finally they get the program underway,With videos of each player,And then intros of each player.The best lines of the day came from Shawn,And I'm sure he will talk about that in his blog(Link is on the right side of the page)

Everyone signing was very polite,and even talked alittle,After getting our autographs we headed out for the hour plus drive back.

I have been having major problems with AOL the last 2 days,I think part of that is due to the overwhelming Internet use for the everything that is soon to be President Barrack Obama's Inauguration. I know using Mozilla for my blog is working seem less,And even trying to get a link from AOL right now is not happening.

I promise I am trying to get more posts done the next few days,With 2 weeks until the Super Bowl I should have plenty of time to catch up on some stuff I have been working on for a few weeks
