This concept is working well in the 2008 playoffs,The Pittsburgh Steelers did what they had to do against a very tough Baltimore Raven team,And hung on for a 23-14 Steelers victory.
The game lived up to most of the pre game hype,Except that Joe Flacco wasn't as advertised in the Ravens previous 2 playoff games. Flacco went 13-30 for 130 yards,and 3 interceptions. While on the other side of the ball,QB Ben Roethlisberger went 16-33 for 255 yards and no interceptions
1 of the reasons Ben had a good day? The Ravens were trying for the interception,Instead of the tackle on a few plays that turned out to be huge plays,These things will be watched by the Ravens in the off season,And I'm sure they will have PLENTY of free time now.
The game was full of classic hard hits,And 1 that may have been the best hit all season
Say what you want, But that was a clean legal hit by Ryan Clark.He was leading with his shoulder.Not the crown of his helmet like so many dumb asses have said this week.

Actually you get both in the same video,But the point I am trying to make is this,On both plays there was NO leading with the crown of the helmet.I have see so many posts about "How The Stealers(Yes,I see what they did there")Got away with another victory by cheating. It's so funny that the Steelers only seem to cheat when they win.Never heard a whisper out any loud mouth asshole Eagles fan when we lost to them.
It just goes to show you that when you are winning,There are people who think the only way a team can win week in and week out is cheating,To them I say go fuck yourself!I am tired of hearing how rude our fans are,Ever been to Philly?New York?And how can we forget New England?Of course the people that run their mouths don't have the balls to walk up to someone and say the kind of shit they say in message boards,And talk radio.
And before someone decides to say that I am included in that mix,I have never said any team cheated to beat my team,Ever.I may talk trash about the opposing team,But I do not accuse players,Or refs of "covering up" or "one way calls"I have talked trash about other teams when I am writing about the matchups,But you will never hear me say a player,Or a ref is on the take.OK,Time to step off the soap box.
