Welcome back to my 3 diehard readers,I am sure you are possibly the only ones reading !!There has been a lot going on in the past few months since I actually devoted a post to nothing in general...The Hagerstown Suns and the City of Hagerstown are still working on a long term lease for a new"Sports and recreation center"..
. Honestly,I fully support the city in this ,But really wish they would have at least came up with a few other sites to decide on..
The former Washington County Hospital parking lot would have been my first choice.. Yes you would still have buildings to tear down,But it is less then 1000 yards from the current stadium..
You could have built the entire complex right next to the old site!!! Think of the history.. 1 of the oldest parks in the country, Right next to your brand new stadium...
You could have had tours of the park, Told of the history of Municipal Stadium,About how Willie Mays played here, How countless other Minor Leaguers have gone on to the big leagues... But no.... Let's build it next to a car wash..... Think about how you could have tied history with the new and old into a 5 block area... Nah....Let's build it 2 blocks from a library.... I hope this whole thing works out.. But I still would have loved it in another spot...
While we are on that subject... To the people who comment on the Herald Mail website about how the Mayor is just trying to waste money, What are you going to have the day AFTER professional baseball leaves the Hub City?Hey let's have a coffee jam or some stupid shit..Yeah,That's going to bring over 250,000 people a year in...
With my job I have been doing a ton of driving(Considering my job is to drive.,..Makes sense) You get to see some of the stupidest people..How they passed a drivers test is beyond me!..
When you are entering a interstate highway,DO NOT slow down... If someone moves over for you..Get your dumb ass on the road!!Also,To the hicks and red necks out there who must have 4 wheel drives that sit 20 feet above the road..
Is there really a need to blow smoke out of your stupid pipes and pretty much drag race to every light you go to? We get it.. You have a big truck,Guess you are compensating for other things,And that's ok....I just do not need to look in my mirror and see your fucking bumper right at my back window...
The same thing goes for all you assholes (Who give delivery people a bad rap btw) You know who you are, The one that never has a turn signal on, Or better yet leaves it on..Or the ones who just have to ride your ass, Pull out in front of you, Or generally just drive like a fucking dumbass...
