You Had Your Chance...But You Blew It.

You blew it!!! Not just a quote from copland... It's now the cry Hagerstown will hear the day the Suns move out of town!!.
                                                            
Well... I was not planning on doing a post till next week.. You know, The start of the NFL season and all...But After today's agreement in principal, The Suns may be calling Fredericksburg home for a very long time..

And the guilty parties that caused this? Please welcome the City council of Hagerstown..And it's flip flopping Mayor... But Bob, How can you throw these people under the bus...Or more like a moving van?

You dumb bastards have had the better part of 2 years.. 2 Fucking  years to get just 1 thing... 1THING done... But what do we get? We get the former council voted out..Candidates ran on the No stadium platform...Be careful what you ask for.. You got the anti stadium "people" in..
 Only to have 3 members who somehow got voted in.. Suddenly change their minds, And say they WANT a stadium....

At this point you would have thought someone... Anyone could buy a fucking clue, Get what needs done,Done.... Oh but this is Hagerstown... We live in an area that thinks Outlet malls are hip and happening..


We are only 25 years behind most towns.. Good lord  Butler Pa redid their stadium, And now has a college league team.. And Butler is half the size(And income) Then Hagerstown.

All anyone wants to do is fix downtown.. I hate to burst your bubble, But unless you have a downtown the size of Pittsburgh or larger.,You could attempt to"fix"things till the cows come back and take another dump on it... It doesn't matter.. The downtown as most people over 45 remember will never come back!!


Hagerstown thinks a library is worth more then a Minor League ballpark is..Hagerstown thinks a dogpark,Is worth more then a Minor League ballpark....

Let's just keep adding fucking parks... Because now that you have screwed the pooch for good,You will NEVER see organized baseball in this town again!!

So what is left? Unless Hagerstown can do something that it has never done before, Which is actually doing work.. Then say goodbye..
