Getting To Know Your Pick Ems Teams!

I know most of the 5 readers of this blog know all of the teams we cover. But in the unlikely event someone is reading this blog for the first time(What the hell have you been doing?)We will give our comical approach to all the teams we cover!


1) Pittsburgh Steelers

 After a lackluster 8-8 record last season,The Mighty McBeams will try and have a much better season this year..

See the fellow on the left? His name is Steeley McBeam. He is the mascot for the Steelers.. Whoever came up with this idea, Must have been on heavy meds that day!!  On a personal note, My faithful 2 or so readers  already know they are my favorite team.So usually I do not pick against them...Led by former drunkard Ben Roethlisberger, This team has lost most of the"comical players.. Gone are Hines Ward, James Harrison. On the bright side..We  get Felix Jones... Ugh...Common nicknames, Mighty McBeams ,Harf Patrol,Omar's Team,Bastrds(After a tough loss!



2)Cleveland Browns

Yes,I know this is NOT the Cleveland Brown we are talking about.But still funny after all these years!

After many years of horrible Browns football, The faithful fans may actually see an improved team. But true Browns fashion, They will find a way to mess it up.. Good luck Cleveland ,You will need it!!

 3)Dallas Cowboys

The only reason they even  are on pick ems is long time reader Sam. I despise the Cowboys almost as much as the Ravens.. The  best part of a Dallas season is usually the weeks leading up to the end of the season.After that  their fans jump off the band wagon,And head to a playoff team!! Good luck Cowboys.. You'll need it!!

3)New York Giants

Why the hell is there is a picture of deceased former pro wrestler Andre The Giant here? Well duh.. He is a giant.. This is much better then saying the football Giants.

Yet another team that would not be here if it wasn't for longtime  another reader ,Joy loves the Giants..So much her wedding was NFL themed. Nice going!

Some how, Some way, The Andres always seem to be in the playoffs.. Could be  playing in the NFC East helping that!

4)Jacksonville Jags

 First I have a question.Who the hell thought Jags was a good name? I understand the whole Jaguars(Spotted cats)But where I come from,Jags has nothing to do with a damn spotted cat!!!The Jags have not a ton of success over the years since they came into the league(As the Jaguars),But I'm sure changing the name will make a huge difference!

5) Green Bay Packers

The Packers are guest writer,And long time supporter Ryan's favorite team. But that's not the reason they appear in our Pick Ems.Yes,That may have gotten the Pack in.But the Packers QB is Aaron Rodgers,Who is my starting QB in fantasy football... That is the main reason they are here!

Even though they beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl, I harbor no ill will... The Packers are 1 of those teams you can root for,Even if  you  usually root for just 1 team
