That is the number of American troops killed in Iraq since the war was started by George Bush who proclaimed that Iraq was behind 9/11,Had Wmd's,That Saddam had overdue library books,So on and so on.The 4082 is only the troops killed in Iraq,This does not count the 507 soldiers killed in Afghanistan,Or as many as 300,000 troops that have brain injuries caused by this nonsense!The 300,000 is not even really considered in the total injuries,The "official total" is 30329,And growing each and every day.I could write a long post about how this war is useless,And how the lives lost is not worth it.Instead I hope each of you pauses at 3PM today,And think of where we would be if our brave soldiers ,And not just the soldiers in Iraq,But also Afghanistan,And all the soldiers who have given their lives to defend our country,And the 3000 plus victims of terrorism on our soil,Who were just innocent victims living their lives. Memorial Day has become a day for cookouts,And stores having sales,The people who sacrificed lives are the people who deserve our thoughts,And our prayers on this day.I know some may not agree with my opinions,But this is America,We are free to speak our minds,And have our own opinions.
