The Pittsburgh Penguins run to the cup has ended at 6 games.They were down 3-1 going into the last 2 minutes,And the Pens got a lucky power play,Pulled Marc -Andre Fleury,And quickly scored 1 of the 2 goals needed to tie the game.The last play of the game saw Sidney Crosby shoot the puck around Chris Osgood with no time remaining, The puck missed the line by less then 2 inches.This was one of the best Stanley Cup finals i have seen in along time,And I'm not just saying that because the Pens were in it!Hats off to the Pens fans for showing overwhelming support for this team,Even when they were wrote off by every hockey expert.I don't have the numbers in front of me,But i believe the Pens went on a 39-16 run to finish the season off.Then only lost 2 games to march to the Finals.The Penguins have nothing to be ashamed of,No one had them going to the finals,Playoffs maybe,But not fighting for Lord Stanley's Cup.I'll do a post later on the Pens season in review,But for now.Way to go Pens!!(Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images)
