Congratulations Losers!!

With tonights 10-7 loss to the Astros at PNC Park,The Pittsburgh Pirates have lost 100 games.. Thinks about that for a second..100 Games.They have won a whopping 53 GAMES!!! 53...Most teams have that many loses, Not wins!!

Back in April,I wrote this/2010_04_05And damn I was close..The Bucs have to win 6 out of 9 games remaining to even hit the magical 59 win number..

Honestly I have to say tonights line up is BETTER then the opening day roster..

Sadly the pitching continues to suffer..James Mcdonald  has  been the"staff ace" Hands down since the Pirates stole him in a deadline day deal..And may have  bettered his record above .500 if not for a blister..


Glory days will come again Pirate faithful.. There is no Barry Bonds Curse,No Sid Bream curse..It's called 12 years of poor management,And 7 more years of drafting to fill your farm teams..

Altoona  won the Eastern League title,With pretty much the same guys who won the Carolina League title the year before..That doesn't mean it will be 3 years before they win in the Burgh..

With the arms the Pirates have signed in the last 2 drafts,We are making head way,But it's hard to make head way when the ship was sinking before you got on,And you're given a pan at the door to help bail out.,..
