Saying Goodbye

I know I have said before I was going to start doing more posts,And quite honestly I have no excuse.But that's not what this post is about.
This post is to say goodbye to a incredible friend.This friend has 4 legs.And also could make me smile at the lowest of lows.
                 Wednesday may have been one of those days I needed Jazz to make me smile,But that was the reason I have been sad,She was gone..I don't feel sad. I just feel an emptiness I haven't felt since my friend Shawn and his family lost their pug Teddy..I've been around a ton of friends who have had animals,But nothing close to the love I had for Jazz and Teddy...

From the moment I first met Teddy,there was a connection..That little guy had a voice (what became known as the Teddy voice)...   People who have never even seen him would use the voice..The funny part of this was Teddy only talked"Blue" around a few of us..Maybe one of my all time favorite moments around Teddy was a time we all went to Rita's and brought our frozen treats back with us..Well we decided to get him a "pup cup"..It was placed in front of him...He devoured it's contents...He had stuff on his nose,All while licking the container clean!!!    Henceforth in Teddy voice would be PUP CUP!! I miss you little buddy..

   And then we get to Jazz...Wow she was an amazing dog..The first time I was at Molly's house,I was greeted by all this barking..Now I wasn't sure what was behind that door...I knew it was a smaller dog by the bark...But it sure sounded angry..Well Molly answered the door,Invited me in..The next thing I see are 2 poodles..One losing her mind(Zoe)And the other jumping up and down,Almost like she was saying..love meeeeeee...
 
Don't get me wrong,I came to love Zoe after a little warming period..But for some reason...Jazz made an impression right away..The times when they came to see me at my place,Jazz jumping on my lap..doing her crazy stretch..Running around like a lunatic..And the sweaters...I won't even get started on those!!!  I will never be able to see a brown poodle and not think of her!  


  I will miss them and Zoe  as much as I miss loved ones..They weren't my pets..But they were family to me..If that makes any sense..

 So if by chance...You have a pet you love ..And let's be honest,If you own a pet. It's more like they own your heart..No funny line at the end of this post....Just a smile thinking of the memories...Until next time..
